Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care has been in Waldorf since 1988. We have owned this location since 2008. Our current location is a 9 bay shop and we employ one Transmission Rebuilder, 5 General Repair Technicians, Service Writer and Bill, our General Manager. Ken, the owner, is actively involved in the day to day operations. His wife, Cara, the Financial Officer, helps customers with financing, and does outside sales

We employ ASE Certified Technicians that continue to receive the latest training to allow them to keep up with the latest transmission, auto repair, and vehicle technologies to assure we provide a superior level of auto repair service. We abide by Cottman’s complete service philosophy, which call for your vehicle to be repaired properly the first time, so that you don’t have to lose either time or money. We will never suggest any repairs that you do not need.

Project HERO was started for Nathan Norman. He is a 5-yr-old fighting cancer. All he wants to be when he grows up is a fireman. His story was posted on Wish Upon a Hero, and first responders flocked to him. My truck was given to me, and when I heard about Nathan, I knew I had to do. something. I have contacted many companies to donate anything they can for this cause .To get the word out about this great foundation. Tim Bready and Nate VanderVliet were the masterminds behind the design of the wrap for the truck and the Guys at Truck n American have also been a great assets to the build of the truck. Eventually the truck will be auctioned and proceeds will go to Wish Upon a Hero foundation and St Jude's center for children.
